Late Night with Seth Meyers shared Our Disco Bathroom Wedding Story on his “This is the Kind of Story We Need Now” Segment

In a world often filled with news of strife and hardship, every now and then, a story emerges that brings a smile to our faces and reminds us of the joy that can be found in the most unexpected places. Such is the case with the recent wedding of Tiana and Logen Abney, who decided to tie the knot in a rather unconventional location – our gas station disco bathroom. And their heartwarming tale has even caught the attention of late-night TV host Seth Meyers, who couldn’t resist sharing it with his audience on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”  It’s one of the most creative story renditions that we have heard so far. Great Job Seth Meyers and team!!

The story begins with Tiana and Logen Abney, a couple whose love for each other knows no bounds and whose sense of adventure knows no limits. When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted something unique, something that would reflect their personalities and the unconventional journey they had shared together.

Inspiration struck when Tiana and our District Manager joked about her getting married in our epic disco bathroom. With its glittering disco ball, colorful lights, and the mysterious RED Button that says “Do Not Push the RED Button”, which makes you want to push it. And in that moment, they knew they had found the perfect venue for their special day.

Of course we were excited to oblige in this special time of their lives.  We were delighted by the idea of hosting a wedding in our quirky bathroom. So David Biery, our District Manager/ordained minister, and Ann Gilbert, HOP Shops Human Resource & Marketing Manager, set about planning the most memorable wedding bash of the year!

But the story doesn’t end after the magical wedding took place on Valentine’s Day. In a twist that no one saw coming, their wedding caught the attention of the world.  The “Disco Bathroom Wedding” has gone viral across the world and most recently with none other than Seth Meyers, who couldn’t resist sharing their story with his audience on “Late Night.” In a segment titled “This is the Kind of Story We Need Right Now,” Seth regaled his viewers with tales of the couple’s disco bathroom nuptials, eliciting laughs and smiles from all who tuned in.

And so, Tiana and Logen Abney’s gas station disco bathroom wedding has become more than just a cherished memory for the happy couple. It’s a reminder that love knows no boundaries, that joy can be found in the most unexpected places, and that sometimes, the best stories are the ones that defy convention.

As the world continues to navigate uncertain times, let us take comfort in the knowledge that amidst the chaos, there are still moments of pure, unadulterated joy waiting to be discovered. And if ever you find yourself in need of a pick-me-up, just watch this story of the unforgettable disco bathroom wedding or hop in to one of our 6 disco bathrooms and be transported to the days of disco.
