Ribbiting Rewards members can earn unlimited rewards and savings.
NKY & Southern Ohio – HOP Shop’s Convenience stores will launch “Ribbiting Rewards” and custom app on November 1st, 2022. HOP Shop’s has teamed up with Paytronix Inc. to launch its new Ribbiting Rewards Loyalty Program and Rovertown for the new custom app.
Customers who visit HOP Shops convenience stores can register immediately to begin earning unlimited rewards and savings.
“Loyalty programs continue to be popular, and we knew we needed to stay competitive. Plus, we wanted to offer so much more to our guests,” said Ann Gilbert, HOP Shop’s Marketing Director. “The fun part was being able to customize every icon, image, and names of sections to our brand.” “Besides offering so much more to our guests, we will be awarding points and fuel discounts to employees for recognition incentives. We are hoping that might be attractive to future job seekers as well”.
In February we began reviewing numerous loyalty programs and finally chose to partner with Paytronix who has a track record for providing personalized loyalty programs and Rovertown who helped us create our own custom app. “With the custom app and loyalty program combined, we feel we have one of the most robust programs for our guests to save money, earn rewards, get fuel discounts, and have fun doing it”, says Damon Bail, VP of Retail Operations and Marketing.
The app connects us with our guests outside of the store and opens communication both ways, to share details on community outreach programs that we support, the career opportunities that they can easily see, HOP Shop’s everyday offers, Exclusive Offers, and 21+ offers, and Ribbit Racer, a fun drift game that the guest can have fun playing and collect coins and points for freebies.
HOP Shop’s Ribbiting Rewards is free to join and designed to be easy to use, allowing guests to earn and redeem rewards both at the cash register and at the fuel pump. Each purchase they make earns points, which can in turn be redeemed for unlimited rewards such as free items, fuel, and in-store discounts. Members scan the barcode in the HOP Shop’s app, use the physical Ribbiting Rewards card, or enter their phone number, at the cash register. When at the pump the guests enter their card or phone number to earn rewards. We feel with these options we can include everyone.
Every $1 spent adds 20 points to members’ accounts and with every gallon of fuel purchased, 10 points will be added. They can get points for everything except sales tax, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco, and lottery. On their birthday, they get DOUBLE points all week.
Ribbiting Reward’s members also gain access to special promotions on their favorite products, we refer to this as “Reward Yourself”.
In June, we began building the program from the ground up to provide the best guest engagement experience we can offer.
“Personalization matters to guests and we have that at our fingertips with Ribbiting Rewards. In this area, there aren’t very many smaller companies that own convenience stores that can offer loyalty programs, so we are excited to be able to do this for our guests,” says Tim Dupin, Director of Store Operations.
HOP Shop’s Network Administrator says, “The HOP Shop’s mobile app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The Ribbiting Rewards loyalty program is already in the app, so the guest just taps on the rewards button and enters basic information to begin savings and earning rewards. They can also enroll in the Ribbiting Rewards online at https://hopshops.myguestaccount.com.”
HOP Shop’s currently operates 13 convenience stores in Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio.
